A retired advertiser and a cook by family tradition, Mr Molina Villegas has attended several cooking courses in the United States, Argentina and Perú. He studied pastry and baking at Instituto Mariano Moreno in Buenos Aires and is known for adapting and creating new dishes with the tropic flavors of his country, Colombia.
He is the cook at his reservation-only Casa Molina restaurant where he practices eclectic cuisine. His goal as a cook is to travel and personally discover the origin and preparation of dishes.
He spends several months every year in Patagonia, Argentina and the Caribbean escorting gastronomy and fly-fishing tourist groups. He loves foie gras.
He writes about cooking and culinary traveling in local and national media and is a frequent guest in TV shows. His motto is: “it is better to be happy than important” |
