During the 12th Annual New York Chocolate Show 2009 held between Friday October 30 to Sunday November 1st Chocolate Santander was awarded “Best in Show” in the category “Best Chocolate Confection‚ non-chocolate bar” for the Chocolate Covered Cacao Nibs. 

The Chocolate Show is the largest consumer event in the United States entirely devoted to chocolate. Exhibitors range from small‚ artisinal‚ chocolatiers to large commercial manufacturers of chocolate and chocolate-friendly products. Participating brands include Santander‚ Guittard‚ Green & Black's‚ Lindt‚ Masterfoods‚ Christopher Norman‚ Chocolat Moderne‚ Charles Chocolate‚ Lillie Belle Farms and more.

During the event there was also 65 Cooking Demonstrations in 2 Culinary Theaters carried out by featured chefs like renowned pastry chefs Jacques Torres‚ François Payard‚ Nicole Kaplan (Eleven Madison Park)‚ and Martin Howard (Brasserie 8 1/2). There was also a Children’s Corner with activities for young chocolate lovers a Barnes & Noble Bookstore with scheduled book signings by authors and pastry chefs and a display of Chocolate Fashion Collection.
